ABOUT
Adrienne Cisley Rose is a New York–based multidisciplinary artist working at the intersection of hand-built ceramics, photography, and poetry. Born in Brooklyn and shaped by time spent in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Grenada, she developed a deep appreciation for the parallels between human nature and the natural world—an awareness that continues to guide her creative work. Her practice explores themes of spiritual ecology, collective identity, and the emotional resonance of materials shaped by time, memory, and place.
With a foundation in Communication Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology, Adrienne brings a sensitivity to visual structure, rhythm, and process into her ceramic work. She has held creative and administrative roles at studios including Adjaye Associates, Apparatus Studio, and Standard Issue Design. Her vessels, often organic in shape and texture, emerge through slow, tactile building processes and are finished with hand blended oxide washes that evoke atmospheric surfaces.
